Stop Gaza genocide! Dismantle Israeli occupation!

All out in Manchester on Saturday 27th April, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens.

As Gaza still endures unimaginable forms of killing, destruction and torture with no end in site, Israel’s thirst for more Palestinian blood, lands and suffering is still unleashed on Palestinians in all of their whereabouts.

For the past couple of weeks, the West Bank has been going through daily settler and army violence. Nur Shams refugee camp was under an Israeli army raid for three whole days, in which they killed 14 Palestinians and caused massive amounts of destruction to entire areas and infrastructure.

Palestinians are also having to endure daily settler attacks on their bodies and properties. As they invade Palestinian towns and villages, settlers are setting fire to Palestinian belongings, stealing property, destroying water wells, blocking roads and attacking homes.

18 Palestinians were killed by settlers’ gunshots since October 07. From Al Mughayyer to Ramallah to Duma to Lebban to Qusra to Qaryot and across all of occupied Palestine, the rivers of bloodshed filling the shattered streets are only growing.

This has been the reality for Palestinians for over 75 years of ethnic cleansing. Through all of its arms, whether the army or the settlers, or the armed « civilian » groups formed to terrorise and attack Palestinians in 48 Palestine, or all of its institutions, the Zionist regime is doing what it does best, systematically attempting to crush Palestinian resistance and resilience, steal more lands and destroy more lives.

But here in Manchester, we will keep taking to the streets and taking action until all of Palestine is liberated and Palestinians are living in freedom and dignity. We will be as relentless as the occupation and we will fight all British complicity in Israeli crimes.

So join us on Saturday, 27th April, 12pm, Piccadilly Gardens.!

The UoM Senate will vote on a motion calling for the University to cut its ties with three institutions complicit in Israel’s ongoing atrocities in Gaza.

Join students and staff outside the Senate meeting to pressure UoM to end its partnerships with BAE Systems, Tel Aviv University, and HSBC.

The University has repeatedly ignored and rejected calls to address its unethical investments, research, and partnerships. It is time to make them listen!

Free All Palestinian Political Prisoners

All out in Manchester on Saturday 20th April to demand an end to the Gaza genocide and the freedom of all Palestinian political prisoners! Meeting at Piccadilly Gardens – 12pm

Over 6 months have passed and the genocide being committed in Gaza is as relentless as ever. The Zionist regime continues to slaughter Palestinians remorselessly and with impunity. Zionist forces have also been continually detaining Palestinians in Gaza and subjecting them to torture, brutalisation and physical violence on a daily basis, as well as premeditated murder and systematic executions whilst in detention.

The Zionist regime has historically used indefinite detention as a tactic to further its colonial hold over Palestine, and to ethnically cleanse Palestinians through carceral practices.

There are currently around 10,000 Palestinians imprisoned across Occupied Palestine, and the number is increasing day by day. Since 1967, 251 political prisoners have been killed in Zionist prisons, not least because of the brutal conditions they are subjected to.

The most recent example is 62-year old Walid Daqqa, a Palestinian activist and novelist. Walid was murdered last week by the Zionist regime by infliction of torture and denial of medical treatment. He spent 38 years imprisoned. Walid was a renowned writer and intellectual and though his physical being was incarcerated, his mind remained unshackled, using his words to express the spirit of Palestinian resilience and maintain calls for the freedom of his land and people.

We honour Walid as a martyr, alongside all those who have given their lives for the cause. We must carry and amplify their voices and continue the fight for liberation.

More clearly than ever, we are witnessing the deep-rooted active participation of the British government in 75 years of apartheid, oppression, and now the Gaza genocide. We cannot let this continue and we must do everything in our power to unequivocally demand every complicit crevice of British economy be cleansed of profit made from the oppression of Palestinians.

So raise your voices for Palestine and join us on Saturday 20th April. Meeting at Piccadilly Gardens – 12pm.
